Get ready for an unforgettable afternoon at SHOCC Extra: Bal Massif! happening at The Hilt, near Winchester, SO53 5NP!
Join us for a vibrant celebration of balfolk dancing and music featuring not one, but four incredible balfolk bands:

- Helen Gentile & Lewis Wood
- Sawney White Bird
- Shivelight
Experience the rich tapestry of folk dance tunes from across Europe in this true Bal Massif!
The afternoon kicks off with an exciting dancing workshop led by talented members of the bands, where you'll learn traditional European balfolk dances like mazurka, bourree, hanter dro, and slangpolska. No experience? No problem! All instruction will be provided on the day, so just bring your comfy shoes and get ready to move!
Schedule:
- Dance Workshop: 3pm - 4pm
- Dance Party: 4pm - 8pm
Enjoy tea, coffee, and biscuits available for a donation. Please note, there's no bar at the venue, so feel free to bring your own drinks to keep the energy high!
